Lawn Care

The Slower Mower beautifies lawns in Dinwiddie, Petersburg, Colonial Heights, Prince George, Chester, Hopewell, and Matoaca. All service packages include mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing off your sidewalks and driveway.

When I first started my lawn-care business, it was just something to do on the side, so I only bought basic equipment ... I didn't even have a Zero Turn until my third year. That's what made me "The Slower Mower," as I couldn't initially maintain pace with all the faster fellows.

However, my impeccable work-ethic empowered me to continue growing the business, which compelled me to invest in better equipment. This allowed me to slowly creep past all those napping rabbits, as I consistently generated new clients.

I've always admired Artists, aka people that can take an image in their mind and create something beautiful on paper or canvas. I wasn't blessed with that gift. My attempts to draw have always been terrible. However, I found that taking a raggedy-looking lawn and transforming it into something beautiful is MY form of Art. In the span of an hour, I can paint a breathtaking picture with my weedeater, that not only brings me satisfaction, but also gives an even greater sense of appreciation to the homeowner. After a long day's work, they can come home and enjoy a sense of pride, relishing in the fact that their lawn looks immaculate.

If you have lawn-care needs, feel free to reach out, at (804) 704-0193.

For your convenience, you can make payments via the PayPal button shown above (even if you don't have a PayPal account) or I can swipe your card, in person, on the PayPal card reader. I also accept Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, FB Pay, or checks made payable to The Slower Mower.

If you're from The Future, I'll gladly accept your payment in the form of the digital currency XRP, or that old clunker Bitcoin. I will not, however, accept Ethereum.
